Terms of use
Draft — not yet legally binding.
ServiceHub is in active development. Final terms of use will be published before the public launch. The summary below covers the principles the service is being built around.
The deal
ServiceHub is a marketplace that connects seekers (people who need work done) with providers (people who do the work). Contracts are between seeker and provider — ServiceHub is the platform, not the contracting party.
Payments & escrow
Seekers fund job amounts to escrow when awarding a contract. Funds are released to the provider when the seeker confirms completion. ServiceHub deducts a platform fee (currently 10%, GST-inclusive in Australia) at release.
Acceptable use
Be honest in your profile and listings. Don’t post work that’s illegal, unsafe, or that asks for off-platform payment to evade fees. Be respectful in messages — harassment gets accounts removed.
Disputes
Try to resolve issues in the conversation thread first. If that fails, contact support; we’ll review the contract, messages, and ledger history before issuing a refund or release.
Liability
ServiceHub doesn’t guarantee the quality of work, the accuracy of profiles, or the outcome of any contract. Use your judgement; check reviews; communicate clearly before awarding.
Changes
These terms will change as the product evolves. Material updates will be announced via email and in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
